After winning against UST last Sunday and Adamson yesterday...the Archers now are now in solo 3rd (or let's say solo 2nd? As of now ADMU and FEU are tied with a 9-3 record...whoah) and now pushing further with their last two games might boost their chances for a twice-to-beat advantage!!!!!! But the last 2 opponents of the Archers are the fast-climbing Maroons and the strong Warriors...I hope with all my heart that the Archers would be able to pass these two "obstacles" to have a strong finish in the semis...

GO ARCHERS!!!!!! ANIMO LASALLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For 11 consecutive seasons the Archers have entered the Final Four!!! Way the go Archers!!! The only concern now is the ranking of the four teams: ADMU, FEU, DLSU and UE. DLSU still has a chance for a twice to beat advantage if it ties with any of the top two teams. But before they dwell on that notion...it is really crucial that they beat the Warriors this Thursday (dang! I won't be able to watch it even on TV!!! Waaahhhh). The Warriors are really strong, the Archers must maintain their good performance and learn from our loss with UE in the First Round. Anything can happen...anything is still possible...KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Yeo...the real YEO is back!!!!!!! For Mac...hehe keep your cool dude!!!!

As for UP...they really played well...considering they won 6 straight games...defeating also the top 2 teams ADMU and FEU!!! Good job!!!!

Hahahaha!!! Ilang gabi ko na hinintay na mag-guest si Chris Tiu sa Halikinu Radio...kaya ko lang pinakikinggan mga chika dito dati dahil hinihintay ko lang si Chris!!! Buwahahahaha!!!

Ang maganda pa nun eh binasa pa on-air yung mga questions ko for Chris under my codename "zelda_overhill"...hihi!!!

Eto isang question na pinadala ko...bale dalawa yung pinadala ko at parehong binasa but di ko nasave yung isa...itatranscribe ko na lang isang araw...nirecord ko kasi!!! Hehe! :

"Chris Tiu, u hv bcome a hi flying eagle! Knwng dat TY Tang of dlsu is ur bst frnd, hw do u guys hndle ur frndshp amidst d hot skul rivalry bet dlsu nd admu?"

Okay yung sagot niya di ko pa nga natatranscribe...basta daw lumamalabas pa rin naman daw sila ekeke, minsan may asaran pa rin pero basta yun ala problem sa kanila!

Yung second question ko it goes like this: "Chris, hw do you handle the demanding priorities of being a ME student and a blue eagle? You really rock to be able to do these things! Good luck!!"

He said time management lang daw ekek...okay get it. he rocks! Haha!!! I forgot to add "being an SK Chairman"...mahn he is so busy!!!!!

Another thing..there was a contest...lucky texters would win a special blue and white cd (cheers that became songs by Itchyworms etc.) and a gift certificate fro powrstation. Out of my mind...I was picked! Bah! Okay! First...how would I get? Sa Pasig pa...9-10 pm daw next monday...errr ang layo! Second...Archer po ako...di kaya bugbugin ako kapag pumunta ako dun at malaman nilang Archer ako...hehe! Hayyyyy....oh well!!

The UAAP heat is still on...and I won't stop talking about it now that DLSU just won against the UE Red Warriors 81-61 with the help of Mac "Captain Hook" Cardona raging with 20 points!!! Wohoooo!!!! Unfortunately I was not able to watch it...darn!!! I was busy at school...duty for Lasallian A.I.D.E...I was busy scanning student IDs and sorting adjustment forms while DLSU played against UE. Oh well thanks for the texting technology I new what happened...thanks to 2366 and also Jen.

Now this is the DLSU team that everyone really knew even before the season started...the real DLSU has come out and must prove their worth to whoever will lose in the mighty encounter between two titans: the defending champs...the Tamarraws and last year's runner-up...the Eagles.

Who will DLSU face for the knockout game? DLSU is equal with these teams...having a 1-1 record against both titans...I will still believe they can do this...they can really do this!!! ANIMO LASALLE!!!! KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!

After losing against FEU last Saturday, the Eagles are now tied with their arch-rivals and would play tomorrow for the coveted #2 spot for a twice-to-beat advantage.

This would really be a hot game and I hope the Archers could withstand this heat and emerge victorious after 20 minutes of war tomorrow. I believe in them...KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!!!

It was truly a big win. It would have been nice to have that feeling again of joy inside the Big Dome, well I don’t regret though not being present there…at least I supported the Archers through my prayers and belief that they would be able to pull off a good game and my prayers were answered and my belief was confirmed again. That kind of joy is enough for any eager La Sallian fan in their homes or to those who watched at the Central Plaza.

82-69, they have surpassed their last meeting with the Eagles having a 13-pt lead as the final score compared to their 11-pt win against them on their previous encounter.

THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My forever idol Mac Cardona led the Archers again with 20 points. He was really into the game…he made 3 point shots…gave good assists…rebounds and was able to put the pressure to whoever he was guarding. If I would ask Mac today about something about the game, I would ask, “Was Tenorio heavy when he landed on your back? Did it hurt?” Ok it was just funny to see how Mac reacted when LA landed on his back…he laid on the floor comfortably as if basking under the sun…hehe! He also had numerous smiles in the game…hope someone in the production staff would give him a Mr. Close-Up Smile…wehehehehe!!! GO MAC!!!!!

My favorite part of the game was the one chosen as the BEST PLAY…TY’s incredible assist to Cholo Villanueva from a Cardona pass. That was really incredible!!!! GO TY!!!!!! I’m glad he has really improved…just like what the commentator said…he has matured more that he has now the strength to elbow LA…okay that wasn’t really good though. Keep your cool TY!!!!

About the commotion that happened between Chris and TY…well I dunno who really was tapped with a foul…it wasn’t really clear. They said TY hit Chris on the head??? I dunno…it was something like that but I just thought that maybe they were just having a friendly fight with each other…you know…what guy best friends do. I thought “TY was just greeting Chris!” Oh well!

I really thought the next Archer-Eagle encounter for the semis would be held on Thursday, everyone thought that too. Anyway the newspaper said it was gonna be on Sunday…so I hope I can watch again!!! I hope Yola can also watch…I hope also that Jen would also be allowed to watch…oh one more game to go and if they win…OH MY GOD they will enter the finals!!! Yahoo!!! Well I hope they still have that kind of energy or more in their next game…BEAT ATENEO, ANIMO LASALLE!!!!!!!

It was another magnificent win and I'm glad to tell that I was there cheering my heart out at the bleachers. It's not relly bad sitting there...there were a lot of supporters who were there too!

The Archers convincingly routed th Eagles with a 69-55 record...their biggest lead in the final score against the Eagles. Imagine that the Archer's winning score yesterday was the losing score of the Eagles in their 82-69 game last tuesday.

Of course the fear was still i me at the start...the Eagles were so close to our score...they even led for 1 or 2 points for quite some time. It was the superb answering of baskets that gave us an edge of 30-28 in half-time.

I have to take note of the fast breaks..at the start of the first qtr we already had 2 straight fastbreaks courtesy of my forever idol Mac Cardona!!!!!!!! That was the notion Mr. Al Mendoza of the Inquirer mentioned...the fast breaks were the Archers' edge! Yahoo!!!

There was also this IN DA FACE shot that Captain Hook did...of course it was superb! Against Tenorio...wohooooo!!!!!!

Can't foregt also Captain Gaco's slam!!!! That was really earth-shattering for the crowd!!!!!!

Everything was very exciting, the crowd (WAVE!!!!), the cheer and the game!!!!!!!!!!!!1

This was no odinary day for me...this was the first time I was able to watch the finals live, and what made it more special was me and my friend Yola was able to sit among the rich and famous...and lucky one in the PATRON SECTION!!!!

Grabe na to!!!! Halos mawalan ako ng hininga ng malaman namin makukuha namin ang dalawang patron tickets na di binalikan ng isang butihin alumni...haha salamat po!!!!! Grabe mahal pla 300 pesos pag finals...whoah

Pero wa kwents ang pagkamahal ng ticket...worth it naman!!!! besides nanalo naman kanina...wohooo!!!! 58-51, at that score won't tell the whole story! We led as much as 17 points, well at least things did not turn out like what happened last season...leading and losing. Because this day was really different, and I'm truly proud that I kept the FAITH on them ever since I became addicted to the Green Archers. Losing a championship, losing a semifinal game are past experiences. Now we have a 1-0 record against the tamarraws...I'll waith and still believe on what will happen on Sunday...and I'm glad I'll be there kahit upper B na lang ticket namin!

THANK GOD FOR ALL THE BLESSING YOU HAVE BESTOWED UPON ME AND TO THE ARCHERS!!!!

Of course it was furstrating, 57-67...the fact that DLSU could have gotten the Championship last night. But I did not really feel bad...I mean there is still a chance...I believe the Archers can make it. To believe and pary for them could strengthen the team. LET'S GO ARCHERS!!!!

Game 3, everybody has been saying there will be a game 3 from coaches to analysts...HERE'S YOUR GAME3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY?????????

He has the heart...it was shown in every game he played. It was there...you are blind if you do not realize how good he played for the team. Man! Geesh!!

At least I can be happy for he was rightfully picked for the MYTHICAL FIVE (UPAKAN NA LANG KUNG DI SIYA SINAMA DUN!!!!)

I'm glad some ateneans (friends, forums) said they also wanted Mac to earn the MVP award....

Maybe in this case it would just be sweeter if the championship will be won by DLSU on Thursday...it's much better than an MVP award...Mac will given a big credit for this...and he will truly deserve it!!!! Well of course the other players did well...

trophies don't tell who the REAL MVP is...the MEDIA pick does not tell who really was the REAL one...USE YOUR EYES...

MAC YOU'RE STILL OUR MVP!!!!
